TipsCloset organization: three rules that keep it edited

A beautiful closet is mostly an edited one. These rules keep it that way.

1. Edit first

Take everything out. Keep what you wear, fits and feels like you. Move the rest out before you buy a single bin or hanger.

2. One in, one out

A closet only stays edited if something leaves when something arrives. When you bring in a new piece, choose one to donate or sell.

3. Swap twice a year

Off-season clothes go high and back. Everyday clothes go at arm’s reach. Doing this twice a year takes under an afternoon and keeps the closet fitted to the season.

Zones, not piles

Group by category (tops, trousers, dresses, outerwear), then by color within each. A closet you can read at a glance is a closet you’ll keep tidy.

How we handle it

We edit with you, never for you, and then set up the closet so it’s easy to maintain.
